Born in Australia, Dev entered the Australian Junior MasterChef 2020 series as a 13-year-old aspiring cook and showcased his amazing cooking skills across various dishes and flavours.
Dev’s passion for cooking developed from a very young age. His mother involved him in the kitchen while she cooked, and gave him small tasks, like rolling dough and cracking eggs. Dev cooked his first meal independently when he was in grade 4 – it was Mothers Day breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs on sourdough bread and hot pancakes. Everyone in the family loved it which made him so happy, and he started cooking on a regular basis ever since.
Since his MasterChef experience, Dev continues to enjoy cooking. He has hosted an online cooking class for the Wyndham Diwali celebration and started his own YouTube channel DEVilicious.
